The word "Dome" is inspired by the shape of freshly baked muffins and cookies. Dome Bakery is established in 2021 with a mission to bring happiness in every Dome product.
Yellow kindles joy and happiness, that is what Dome Bakery is about. We want to deliver the celebratory spirit and bring smiles to the recipients of our bakes!
Growing up, baking was a novelty to me as I didn't own an oven at home and could only bake at my friend's place. We baked during the school holidays and that had ignited my passion for baking. That was when I decided to purchase an oven with my savings to kickstart something that I enjoy so much!
I eventually started a home-based business selling my bakes to my friends and the residents near my neighbourhood. Their feedback and encouragement have spurred me on to grow my home-based business into something bigger.
In 2021, I took a leap of faith and left my full-time corporate role in hopes of finding joy and satisfaction in what I am doing.
We started small, doing pop-ups and events to share our bakes and interact with customers like a real brick-and-mortar space, and eventually here we are at our first physical shop located at South Bridge Road.
It is a continuous learning journey and we are always on a mission to perfect every treat that comes out from our oven.
We focus a lot on quality and taste in our creations, making use of premium New Zealand butter, the finest Belgian chocolate and French chocolate. All our bakes are handmade, reduced in sugar and preservative-free. Feel free to indulge in our bakes!
